Budweiser Legends of Comedy

Levenshulme style bar ‘M19’ is looking to uncover the next ‘Peter Kay’ when it launches the ‘Budweiser Legends of Comedy’ competition on Thursday 13 July as part of this years Manchester Comedy Festival and the Levenshulme Village Community Festival.

Budweiser are sponsoring a search for Manchester’s next legends of Comedy.
A £250 cash prize and the Budweiser King of Comedy Crown is up for grabs.

The Heats take place every Second Thursday of the month (13 July, 10 August, 14 September and 12 October), with the FINAL on Monday 30 October
at the 300 capacity Pac Music venue in Levenshulme.

The heats are compered by the award winning comedian ‘80’s Luke who went to University with the award winning ‘Peter Kay’ and performed his second gig with ‘Kay’ at the 2,000 capacity Lowry. He currently hosts late night comedy radio show, ‘Hot Where You’re Going’ on ALL FM where the showcase will be aired.

The Six acts plus a Headlining Comedian.
